Orthodontic Dental Assistant - Specialty Smiles - Miramar, FL

We’re a growing orthodontic practice looking for a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team! Someone that is personable, self-motivated, and works well with others. If you enjoy helping people smile and want to be part of a supportive environment, we’d love to meet you. This assistant will primarily work in the scope of records and sterilization, although they will also have responsibilities including seating patients, chairside assisting with bondings, removing and replacing wires, taking radiographs, digital iTero scanning, sterilization, fabrication of Essix retainers and aligners, and other tasks as needed. Orthodontic experience is preferred, but not required. **32 HOURS (4 DAYS) PER WEEK, Days vary from week to week, so schedule must be flexible. Some days go from 8:30-5:30, some are 9:30- 6:30. Should also be willing to help occasionally with community events. May include occasional one Saturday per month. **POSITION LOCATED IN MIRAMAR, FL ; Will travel two days per month to West Davie (close to I75) Requirements: CDA certification and radiation certification.
