Firm Foundation Dental in Celina, Texas is growing, and we’re excited to welcome a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to our team! Our practice opened in January of 2026 and thanks to our amazing patients and dedicated team, we’re expanding quickly. We are a private practice that accepts most PPO insurance plans. This part-time position has the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate. We’re looking for a ROCKSTAR hygienist who is passionate about patient care, a team player, and ready to be part of a positive and supportive work environment. Duties Conducting comprehensive patient screenings, including assessment of oral health conditions, review of medical history, oral cancer screening, head and neck examinations, dental charting, and monitoring vital signs (blood pressure and pulse). Removing calculus and plaque (both hard and soft deposits) from all tooth surfaces. Applying preventive dental treatments, such as sealants and fluoride. Educating patients on effective oral hygiene techniques to support long-term oral health. Providing nutritional counseling as it relates to oral health and overall wellness. Accurately documenting patient information and effectively communicating with the dentist. Ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations, and performing sterilization and routine maintenance of equipment. Building strong patient rapport and collaborating effectively with the dental team to ensure a positive clinical environment. Ideal Qualities Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and team members. Highly detail-oriented, dependable, and consistent in delivering quality care. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional time management and organizational abilities. Dedicated to providing outstanding patient care while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor at all times. Experience Previous experience in a dental assisting role Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations and medical records management is essential. Knowledge of dental x-rays and Dentrix Ascend We are open Monday-Friday.
