Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote lifelong dental health. Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort. Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, Eaglesoft Follow strict infection control procedures using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a sterile environment. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials. Proven experience in general dentistry, with familiarity in pediatric Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology Experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft Strong knowledge of infection control standards, anatomy, and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement and patient assessment with professionalism and compassion. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients of all ages about oral health practices.
