Dental Assistant – Pediatric Office | Fort Walton Beach, FL Full-Time | $18.00 – $24.00 per hour | Weekday Schedule About the Role Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry is hiring a Dental Assistant for our Fort Walton Beach location. This role is essential to keeping clinical operations running smoothly while supporting a positive experience for pediatric patients and their families. This position is best suited for someone who is organized, dependable, and able to stay focused in a fast-paced clinical environment. Schedule Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM No weekend hours Sedation days occur 1–2 times per month and require early arrival (approximately 5:30–6:00 AM) What You’ll Do Assist providers during procedures using four-handed dentistry Set up and break down treatment rooms Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with Florida regulations Maintain sterilization and infection control standards Support pediatric patients and parents throughout treatment Keep clinical documentation accurate and up to date Assist with inventory, lab cases, and daily operational tasks Help maintain an efficient and organized clinical workflow What We’re Looking For Dental assisting experience required Pediatric experience preferred Radiology certification preferred (training available if needed) EFDA certification is a plus (support provided after training period) Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks throughout the day Reliable attendance and professionalism Why Join This Team Consistent weekday schedule Structured clinical environment with clear expectations Opportunity for continued skill development and certification support Collaborative team focused on patient care and efficiency Apply Today If you are a dependable Dental Assistant looking for a stable, team-oriented pediatric practice, we encourage you to apply.
