Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with infection control protocols. Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and care. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging technology such as 3D scanners while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems)to accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and medical histories. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control standards to prevent cross-contamination. Support administrative tasks such as greeting patients as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, processing medical coding for billing purposes, and managing medical documentation efficiently. Qualifications Ability to perform X-ray techniques and knowledge of infection control practices are required. Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and specialists in endodontics or prosthodontics. Spanish speaker highly preferred. Pay range $17-20 per hour depending on candidate and experience. Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
