Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Associate General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments using medical and dental terminology to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards. Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and prevent infection. Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize efficiency and patient comfort during treatments. Manage medical records diligently, ensuring accurate documentation of diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional patient care, emphasizing education on oral health maintenance and preventive practices. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in dental office or clinic settings. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and techniques for treating pediatric patients effectively. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly using dental terminology and medical language while maintaining patient understanding. Experience working within infection control protocols, HIPAA compliance, and medical imaging standards. Prior involvement in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric populations is a plus.
