Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice on Tuesday/ Thursdays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in promoting oral health and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Administer fluoride treatments and sealants as needed. Conduct periodontal assessments and chart findings accurately. Maintain infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Assist with medical coding and documentation review for patient records. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including pediatric dentistry when necessary. Utilize medical imaging technology to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: Proficiency in infection control practices relevant to dental hygiene. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is advantageous but not required. Strong attention to detail in documentation review and patient interactions.
