Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and infection control protocols. This role involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain infection control standards by following aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Operate 3D scanners for dental imaging as needed. Provide support in the reception area when required, including scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required Familiarity with dental terminology, medical imaging systems, and infection control measures is essential. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Experience in a dental receptionist role is a plus, enhancing overall patient interaction skills.
