Registered Dental Assistant - TexaDent Mobile Dental Care LLC - Houston, TX

TexaDent Mobile Care⁠� is seeking a motivated and dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our mobile dental team serving nursing homes, assisted living facilities, special needs communities, and homebound patients throughout Texas. This role is ideal for an assistant who is flexible, professional, compassionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced mobile environment. The RDA will assist the dentist in delivering high-quality chairside care while helping maintain efficient mobile operations and exceptional patient experiences. TexaDent is currently in an operational growth and onboarding phase. Clinical scheduling and facility assignments are expected to expand over the coming months. Responsibilities Assist dentist during examinations and dental procedures Prepare and break down portable/mobile operatory equipment Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Take digital x-rays and patient records Chart treatment and update patient documentation Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op instructions Maintain inventory and organize mobile supplies Travel to assigned facilities throughout Texas Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance at all times Support smooth patient flow and mobile clinic setup Qualifications Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License Current CPR/BLS Certification Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel Ability to lift and transport portable dental equipment Experience with digital charting software preferred Nursing home, special needs, or mobile dentistry experience is a plus Schedule PRN / As-Needed Position Hours based on facility scheduling and operational needs Travel required Compensation Competitive hourly pay Mileage reimbursement Hotel reimbursement for qualifying travel assignments Growth opportunities as TexaDent expands statewide Work Environment TexaDent Mobile Care provides dentistry directly to patients who face barriers accessing traditional dental offices.
