Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Position Type: Part-Time + Maternity Leave Coverage Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays for part-time and Monday-Thursday for Maternity Leave Coverage Maternity Leave Coverage Begins: September 2026 Location: Smile Design Dental Team in Dedham, MA. About Our Practice We are a friendly, patient-centered dental office looking for a compassionate and reliable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing excellent patient care in a supportive and positive work environment. Position Details We are seeking a hygienist for: A regular part-time schedule on Mondays and Wednesdays Additional maternity leave coverage beginning in September 2026 for Monday-Thursday ( we can be flexible on days/times) This position offers the opportunity for consistent weekly hours with expanded coverage available during the maternity leave period. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planning as well as periodontal maintenance Take digital radiographs Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Record clinical notes and treatment information accurately Maintain infection control and sterilization standards Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to provide exceptional patient care Qualifications Active Massachusetts Registered Dental Hygienist license CPR certification/ HIPPA and OSHA certified Experience with Eaglesoft software required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Ability to build rapport with patients and help create a positive office experience What We Offer Competitive pay Supportive and welcoming team atmosphere Modern office and technology Opportunity for additional hours during maternity leave coverage Pay: From $60.00 per hour Flexible schedule Work Location: In person Pay: From $60.00 per hour Education: Associate (Preferred) License/Certification: RDH License (Required) Work Location: In person
