Oral Surgery Dental Assistant - Dr. Keith Hoffmann, DDS, PhD - Orange, CA

Experienced Oral Surgery Assistant preferred, but will train a qualified RDA/DA. Versatile, Reliable individual with good communication skills, able to assist front office with patient scheduling & phones when needed. Professional Appearance and Friendly Helpful Attitude. Strong Organizational Skills and a Reliable Team Member. The Office Provides Out-patient IV General Anesthesia & Sedation, BLS/CPR is required. If qualified you will be sponsored for AAOMS Anesthesia Assistant Certification. You will alternate between the surgical assistant and airway assistant. Your primary responsibility is for back office, but would prefer an individual who can learn front office as well; scheduling, phone wellness checks, communicating with referring office for radiographs and insurance information. Prepare surgical trays and equipment for scheduled cases Instrument sterilization with sterile technique (i.e. No cross contamination) Surgery and consult room preparation, stocked and clean Patient monitoring and recovering patients from general anesthesia The office uses Care Stream, WinOMS Practice Software with Digital Radiography, CBCT Scan Imaging and Carestream 3700 intra-oral scanner, a California X Ray Certificate will be required You will be expected to maintain your California Continuing Education requirements for RDAs, these are available through online sources, local meetings. This is a Permanent Position, Approximately 24-32 hours per week. The schedule does fluctuate depending upon case load.
