Job Overview Join our small solo general dental team as we care for our long-time patients. We see all family members but limit our practice to restorative, complex restorative and TMD treatments. We work closely with an interdisciplinary team of specialists to provide care for our patients. Our primary days of patient care are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with occasional Mondays. We are not in network with any insurance company and have a relaxed schedule. We have only one RDA who, after many years of being an important part of our team, has decided to pursue a career in the medical field. We are saddened to have our RDA leave but look forward to our new team member joining us. A current California Registered Dental Assistant license and restorative dental experience is required. Responsibilities Chairside assist dentist during a variety of restorative dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained Take digital dental radiographs Utilization of Dentrix software Perform vital signs assessment and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures Proven experience working in a dental office with familiarity in restorative dentistry procedures Hands-on experience with dental assisting techniques - especially fabrication of temporary crowns/bridges Strong grasp of dental terminology, anatomy and infection control practices Be able to contribute to our fun and friendly environment as part of our fantastic team as we provide care to the nicest patients.
