Location Augusta, Georgia, United States Location Type On-site Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our busy Augusta practice on a full-time or part-time basis. You will be part of a close-knit, patient-centered team that provides exceptional care in a positive, welcoming environment, with a consistent Monday–Wednesday and Every other Friday schedule and competitive compensation plus full benefits. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and periodontal maintenance. Perform diagnostic and preventive procedures such as radiographs, sealants, and fluoride treatments in accordance with clinical protocols. Assess patients’ oral health status, review medical histories, and communicate findings and treatment needs to the dentist and patient. Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, and all applicable regulations while maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Qualifications Current state Dental Hygienist license in good standing and CPR certification. Proven clinical experience in a dental practice, with proficiency in scaling, prophylaxis, radiography, and sealant/fluoride application. Strong patient communication and customer service skills, with a warm and professional chairside manner. Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing time and schedules effectively. Knowledge of dental practice standards, infection control protocols, and relevant government regulations.
