We are expanding our periodontal practice and seeking a hygienist who is passionate about education, prevention, and long‑term patient health . New grads and experienced hygienists are welcome. Duties Conduct and document comprehensive periodontal charting and risk assessment Educate patients on oral‑systemic health, tailoring home care routines to manage acute and chronic periodontal disease Work closely with the doctor to form individualized treatment plans Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos, administer local anesthetic, and monitor nitrous oxide sedation Perform thorough, definitive periodontal scaling and root planing procedures Assist with periodontal and implant maintenance protocols, providing 3-to-6-month maintenance care Maintain detailed, accurate clinical notes Build strong, trusting patient relationships Help shape the hygiene program as we grow Requirements Active Ohio Dental Hygiene License Local Anesthesia Certification (required in Ohio) Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification (preferred; can be obtained after hire) Strong patient‑education and communication skills Interest in periodontal therapy and implant maintenance Ability to take digital radiographs and maintain accurate notes Compassionate, patient‑first mindset Join us in creating healthier smiles!
