Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist (Temporary, Part-Time) Location: South Lake Tahoe, CA Job Type: Part-time, Temporary Job Summary: We are a well-established, patient-centered 30-year solo dental practice in South Lake Tahoe seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to provide maternity leave coverage. This is a part-time, temporary position starting in October 2026 , with the potential to transition into a permanent part-time role beginning February 2027 . There may be need for 1 day/week in July, Aug, and Sept. 2026 if the person can start earlier than October 2026. Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays (flexible for the right candidate) Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance Conduct oral health assessments and charting Take dental radiographs Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care Maintain accurate patient records Collaborate with dentist and team to deliver high-quality care Qualifications: Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license Strong clinical and communication skills Compassionate, patient-focused approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team About Us: Our practice has proudly served the South Lake Tahoe community for over 30 years.
