Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Kirkwood, MO
Our office is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented candidate to join our front office team! Our ideal candidate has at least one year of dental front office experience. We are also looking for someone who has experience working with dental insurance, as we have a heavier PPO/Medicare (no Medicaid) insurance patient base. We strive to provide a welcoming, stress-free, environment for all our patients and we hope to find a candidate who shares that mentality. Our office is family owned and has been in business for over 30 years! We are located in beautiful Kirkwood, MO in close proximity to all of the amazing businesses and restaurants that downtown Kirkwood has to offer. The schedule will be Monday-Friday, and we have included the office hours for those days below. Please note that we do have flexibility on both days and hours, and are open to candidates who may only want to work four days per week or shorter hours on certain days. Monday-Thursday: 9am-5pm Friday: 8am-2pm Responsibilities: Greeting patients at check in and check out Verifying that all patient information, including insurance, is up to date Assisting with managing doctor and hygiene schedules throughout the week Collecting from patients at the time of service and assisting with billing Submitting electronic insurance claims with all necessary information Assisting with treatment coordination Other administrative duties such as answering phones, managing office email etc. Qualifications: At least one year of dental front office experience Experience working with Dentrix Friendly and outgoing personality Experience working with dental insurance Solid communication skills and detail-oriented Sound knowledge of dental terminology Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Free parking Happy hour On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Retirement plan Experience: dental front office: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Kirkwood, MO 63122 (Required) Work Location: In person
