Are you fluent in "Toddler," capable of discussing Bluey episodes at length, and a master of the magical art of distraction? Keiki Smiles of Leeward is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced, glitter-filled pediatric team! We take our dentistry seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We are an established family-owned practice and we are looking for the right personality to complete the puzzle. The Gig: Assisting Dr. and Hygienist with procedures (while humming Disney tunes). Taking X-rays on wiggly patients (ninja reflexes required). Educating parents on hygiene. Sterilization, setup, and breakdown (the un-glamorous but vital stuff). You Must Have: Preferred to have minimum of 3 years of pediatric dental experience. The ability to explain a filling in a way that doesn't terrify an 8-year-old. Thick skin (kids say the darndest, honest things) and a warm compassionate heart.
