Schedule Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM team huddle – 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch) Friday: 7:45 AM team huddle – 1:00 PM Sanders Family Dental is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Dental Assistant to join our growing clinical team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is early in their dental assisting career and wants to grow in a supportive, fast-paced, patient-centered dental office. Our assistant tier system gives team members a clear path for training, skill development, and advancement within the practice. What You’ll Do As an Entry-Level Dental Assistant, you will support our doctors and clinical team with routine chairside assisting, patient preparation, radiographs, sterilization, operatory setup, charting, and patient communication. Daily responsibilities may include: Assisting doctors with fillings, crowns, limited exams, and other routine procedures Preparing rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment for treatment Taking dental radiographs with proper certification/licensing Taking digital impressions/iTero scans Charting existing conditions and documenting treatment details Sterilizing instruments and following OSHA/infection control protocols Maintaining clean, organized operatories Completing consent forms and supporting patient communication Helping patients feel welcomed, informed, and comfortable What We’re Looking For The right candidate will be: Dependable and punctual Positive and team-oriented Detail-focused and organized Comfortable communicating with patients Willing to learn and receive feedback Committed to following clinical protocols Professional in appearance, language, and patient interaction Requirements Dental radiography certification/license preferred Dental assisting experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Coronal polishing certification is a plus, but not required for initial hire Ability to follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines Strong work ethic and willingness to grow Benefits 401(k) with 3% contribution Profit sharing and quarterly bonus opportunities Paid time off and holidays Dental benefits and employee discounts Short-term disability coverage Scrub allowance Ongoing training and development Team events and a positive, supportive culture Why Join Sanders Family Dental?
