Dental Hygienist (3/10 flexible work hours) - Pacific Family Dentistry - Beaverton, OR

Job Summary We are looking for an upbeat, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist who enjoys building relationships, educating patients, and being part of a positive team environment. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, X-rays, and patient assessments Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations Assist with treatment planning discussions and help patients understand their care needs Maintain accurate charting, detailed clinical notes, and patient records in Eaglesoft or Dentrix Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked operatory throughout the day Help keep shared office spaces clean, organized, and running smoothly Assist with sterilization and support overall team flow when needed Work efficiently while providing high-quality, compassionate patient care Help create a welcoming, positive experience for patients and team members Support recall and reactivation efforts to help patients stay on track with treatment and continuing care Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment where everyone helps each other Requirements Active Oregon Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license Current CPR/BLS certification Strong communication and patient education skills Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude Ability to work efficiently while providing high-quality patient care Detail-oriented with accurate charting and documentation skills Familiarity with Eaglesoft software preferred Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols Ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace and support overall office flow Reliable, dependable, and willing to help where needed Experience in general dentistry preferred Join a supportive, team-focused office where patient care, professionalism, and teamwork truly matter!
