Dental Hygienist - Golden Hill Family Dentistry - Lakewood, CO

Full or Part Time Dental Hygienist needed for a fantastic, growing private practice. Dental hygienist position available with an established, fun, general dentistry practice in Lakewood providing high quality, caring dentistry for the entire family. We are looking for a caring Dental Hygienist comfortable working on patients of all ages in a long-term, patient focused, and team spirited environment. Our ideal candidate is confident and reliable with a happy, upbeat, and energetic personality who is willing to assist others. Entry level candidates with Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Perform dental assessments, including radiographs, intra-oral photographs, and periodontal charting Maintain patient chart records and treatment documentation Measure and record vital signs as necessary during patient visits. Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Assist the dentist during examinations Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high standards of patient care. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in medical records management and patient assessment techniques. Experience with Eaglesoft systems is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
