Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency Schedule appointments utilizing dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring optimal clinic flow Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing using systems like Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Maintain accurate medical and dental records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and managing electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear communication and appointment coordination Collect payments, process billing, and perform medical collection activities with attention to detail and accuracy Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, documentation review, and managing office supplies to keep the front desk organized and efficient Qualifications Proven experience in a medical or dental office environment, with strong familiarity in clinic operations and front desk responsibilities Knowledge of dental terminology, medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and insurance processes such as Medicare or Medicaid is highly desirable Proficiency in EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms; experience with Epic, Meditech or Athenahealth is a plus Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (including 10-key typing) Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and health information management practices Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and clerical experience in a busy office setting Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and medical billing processes Prior clinic or dental office experience is highly valued; familiarity with dental office management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is advantageous Join us in delivering outstanding care by ensuring our front office runs seamlessly!
