Overview We are a tight-knit dental office looking for a team-oriented, patient care focused dental hygienist with outstanding communication and attention to detail. Our hygienists play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients, including children and adults. Your expertise in dental hygiene practices and familiarity with dental systems will contribute significantly to our practice's success. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapies for patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by reviewing medical histories and performing assessments, including the use of intraoral cameras. Maintain accurate patient records using SoftDent. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and work areas in accordance with health regulations. Provide support to the dental assisting team as needed, fostering a cooperative work environment. Experience A valid license in the state of New Hampshire is required. Local anesthesia and BLS certification is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
