Registered Dental Hygienist - Pearls Family Dentistry - Union, NH

Job Overview We are looking for a dental hygienist to join our team at Pearls Family Dentistry. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technology. We opened our doors in June 2024 and are quickly building a solid patient base! We are currently 3 days a week (T, W, Th) but will be adding a 4th day ASAP. Hours can be discussed! We are hoping for at least 2 days a week, ideally 3 and working up to 4 (although, again, we are flexible!). Responsibilities - Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to diagnose and prevent oral health issues. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health advice. - Utilize medical imaging technology to take X-rays. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation for all patients. - Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans. - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment. - Use dental software to analyze patient data and develop customized treatment plans. - Provide care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. - Maintain a clean and organized dental environment. Skills - Proficiency in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry. - Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, including infection control and medical imaging. - Experience with medical documentation and medical imaging software. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest dental technology and techniques. - Experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well with children and adults. - Certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) or equivalent.
