In this energetic role, you will utilize your expertise to promote oral health, perform thorough cleanings, and educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles. . Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring accurate documentation for diagnosis and treatment planning. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation and communication. Experience with EMR systems such as OPEN DENTAL is highly preferred, but not necessary. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse patient needs.
