Expanded Function Dental Assistant OR Dental Assistant $18-30 per hour| Full-Time or Part-Time Pediatric Dental Practice | Malvern, PA Little Bear Pediatric Dentistry is a warm, growing pediatric dental practice in Malvern, PA, and we’re looking for a reliable, motivated Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow their skills in a supportive, team-oriented practice. What You’ll Do At Little Bear Pediatric Dentistry, you’ll support patient care from start to finish while helping keep our clinical operations running smoothly. Clinical Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures (instrument transfer, suction, chairside support) Prepare and break down operatories (set up trays, materials, sterilized instruments) Take digital dental X-rays (if trained/certified) Apply topical anesthesia, etch, bond, cure, and polish as permitted by Pennsylvania law Provide comfort and reassurance to pediatric patients during treatment Educate parents and patients on post-operative and home-care instructions Clean and disinfect operatories following infection-control protocols Team & Practice Support Monitor and restock clinical supplies and assist with inventory Help other team members during busy periods or patient overflow Support a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment Adapt to daily schedule changes with flexibility and professionalism Who We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: Punctual, dependable, and organized Calm and resilient in a busy clinical setting Eager to learn and grow within a dental practice Flexible and willing to assist beyond a narrow job scope Kind, patient, and comfortable working with children A team player who values communication and respect Required & Preferred Qualifications Preferred (not all required) Graduate of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience Pennsylvania radiology certification Pennsylvania Expanded Function Dental Assisting license (if applicable) Experience in pediatric or family dentistry (a plus, not required) Basic computer skills and familiarity with dental charting software Schedule Full-time or Part-time Schedule aligned with clinical hours Some flexibility may be needed to support practice flow Compensation & Benefits $18–$30 per hour , depending on experience and certifications Opportunities for skill development and professional growth Supportive, family-like work environment Stable schedule in a well-run pediatric practice Why Join Little Bear Pediatric Dentistry?
