Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Edison, NJ
*DENTAL experience is a must * Hourly pay TBD based on working experience & working interview. We are looking for a full time dental assistant to join our ffs/ppo practice. We are all about quality NOT quantity. This isnât a Medicaid mill but we do expect someone that is efficient and a team player. A practice is only as good as its team members! Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for procedures. Assist dentist chairside during examinations and treatments, including taking X-ray images Manage patient records accurately using DENTRIX Be able to help up front with taking calls if someone steps away for a minute or two. Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow efficiency Restocking rooms as needed Taking stock of supplies & help reorder as needed Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with DENTRIX Ability to operate X-ray machines safely while adhering to radiation safety standards; certification preferred. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Competency in chairside assisting Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist when interacting with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a moderately -paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. Join us as we strive to provide outstanding dental care!
