Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Murray, KY
Duties: - Perform patient assessments and screenings, including updating medical records. - Provide dental hygiene treatments, including teeth cleanings, scaling, and root planing. - Administer local anesthesia as needed. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care. - Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols. - Utilize dental software system such as Softdent and Romexis to record patient information and treatment plans. Requirements: - Valid dental hygiene license in Kentucky. - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program. - Knowledge of medical terminology and coding for accurate documentation and billing. - Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices. - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals. - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records.
