Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant / Dental Biller to join our small, patient-focused dental practice. This role combines chairside assisting with billing and insurance processing. Responsibilities: Assist dentist during procedures Take digital dental X-rays Sterilize and organize instruments (OSHA compliant) Process patient billing and insurance claims Verify and submit claims in a timely manner Maintain accurate patient records (HIPAA compliant) Communicate with insurance companies for claim follow-up Ensure proper coding and documentation Requirements: Previous dental office experience required Bilingual in Spanish (required) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of dental terminology and billing procedures Ability to multitask in a small office setting Preferred: Experience with dental billing/coding systems Job Type: Part-time Pay: $300.00 per week People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) Language: Spanish (Required) Ability to Commute: Bakersfield, CA 93304 (Required) Work Location: In person
