You enjoy talking to new people (our patients), explaining confusing dental procedures and putting them at ease, pre and post-treatment. You *MUST*: Be skillful (and confident!) w/ 4-handed dentistry Be highly knowledgeable about modern dental procedures & materials (bonding, etc.) Be EXCELLENT and efficient w/ packing cord Be adept at taking digital x-rays Be highly skilled at pouring/trimming models, maintaining equipment & inventory, ordering necessary & anticipated supplies, adhering to universal precautions including those for infection & sterilization, & privacy protocols (OSHA + HIPPA) Be excited to learn new systems & techniques & help create a patient-loving office environment that is pleasant to show up each workday :) Bonus Points for Candidate: Foreign-trained dentist Able to scan patients with intra-oral scanners Previous experience w/ cosmetic cases and Invisalign Experience w/ Open Dental software Ability to efficiently (and warmly) answer phone calls, record and transfer patient information, schedule appointments, and have all-around superb customer service skills Job type : Part-time to start, leading to full-time; if candidate has DENTAL front-desk experience, full-time hours may be offered more quickly. Office hours : Monday to Friday, ranging from 25-39 hours per week. Salary : Ranging from $24-29 per hour, based on proficiency and experience of the candidate.
