Duties Perform dental cleanings, periodontal screenings, and patient assessments with precision and care Take and interpret vital signs and medical imaging to ensure comprehensive patient evaluations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans to promote lifelong dental health Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency and comfort Maintain accurate medical records, document treatment notes, and review documentation for accuracy Follow infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information Use dental terminology accurately when communicating with patients and team members Experience Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations Proven experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental clinic environments Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical coding Experience with pediatric patients and pediatric dentistry procedures is a plus Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively Ability to work efficiently in a team environment utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques Join us at Dansville Dental Professionals where your expertise will make a meaningful difference!
