We are looking to add a dental assistant (RDA or not) to our fast-paced, growing team! We are looking for an upbeat, motivated and personable team member who loves patient care to join our team! Ideally, we'd love someone with a medical background or has CNA experience. ---------- You'll be responsible for providing the patient with high quality care by performing a variety of office, laboratory, and patient care duties. This usually entails helping the dentist handle patients, instruments, and supplies during the treatment of the teeth, mouth, and gums. You'll also document patient care and take x-rays. ----------- Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested by dentist Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed Assist in taking x-rays, TRIOS scans and 3-D scans Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room If not a RDA, be willing to obtain qualifying hours and work towards RDA in the future Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $23.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Experience: Dental Assistant: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred) Work Location: In person
