Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and enthusiastic part time Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our office is a family-owned private practice. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting our dental practice by providing preventative hygiene to our patients , ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and calculus build up. Review patient health histories, make chart entries, and ensure all documentation is complete. Take diagnostic radiographs. Educate patients on maintaining proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care. Place sealants. Sterilize/disinfect instruments Compliance with all regulations and safety requirements, including OSHA, HIPAA, and other certifications. Operate and maintain dental equipment.
