Our well-established periodontal practice, with locations in Medina and Wooster, is seeking a dedicated and experienced dental hygienist to join our dynamic team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled hygienist to work at both of our locations, with a commitment to traveling to both locations (Medina and Wooster). Position Details: Schedule: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 AM – 5 PM and Fridays 8 AM-3 PM Job Type: Part-time Pay: Competitive hourly rate, plus quarterly bonus incentive Benefits: Employee discounts, Medical Insurance, Paid Lunches, PTO What We’re Looking For: We are seeking an experienced dental hygienist who is comfortable with technology and has experience with digital radiography. A local anesthesia license is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care and be a team player with excellent communication skills. You should also be willing to occasionally assist the doctor with numbing and other assisting procedures when needed. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional dental care to patients, ensuring comfort and optimal outcomes. Capture clinical images using X-rays, intraoral cameras, and other imaging equipment. Perform comprehensive periodontal charting, periodontal maintenance cleanings, and scaling and root planing. Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques and periodontal health. Conduct routine oral health services, including fluoride varnish applications and oral cancer screenings. Provide clear explanations of periodontal procedures and post-operative care instructions to patients. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to deliver outstanding patient care.
