Dental Hygienist - Kaneohe Smile Center - Kaneohe, HI

We are looking for a Licensed Registered Dental Hygienist to join our small Kaneohe practice part-time. Currently, the office has one Dentist and one full-time Dental Hygienist. Specific days of the week are flexible and open for negotiation. Our priority is providing excellent care to our patients through a supportive, caring team – no quotas or double hygiene schedules. Responsibilities will include: · Performing dental prophylaxis, including scaling and root planning (administering anesthetic) · Reviewing medical history and educating patients on preventative care. · Taking digital x-rays · Taking periodontal measurements and maintaining the patient’s dental chart. · Sterilizing instruments and adhering to infection control protocols. · Assist with scheduling future recall appointments, as needed. Hours: · Mon, Tues, Thurs: 8am-5pm · Fri: 8am-4pm · Select Sat: 8am-1pm (open two Sat a month) · Office is closed Sundays, Wednesdays and most federal/state holidays.
