Job Purpose: The Dental Assistant at OIL CITY DENTAL LLC will play a crucial role in supporting the dental team by ensuring the smooth operation of dental procedures and maintaining a high standard of patient care. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in a professional dental environment, as training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Assist the doctor in all dental procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort. Perform sterilization of dental instruments to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Prepare and organize dental equipment and materials for procedures. Ensure the operatory is clean and organized before and after each patient. Provide assistance with patient care, including taking x-rays and updating dental records. Communicate effectively with patients to ensure they understand procedures and post-treatment care. Uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety protocols. Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient files. Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Will train the right person. Required Experience: Previous experience in a dental setting is a plus, but not mandatory. Experience with dental instruments and procedures is advantageous. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to assist the doctor in all dental procedures effectively. Proficiency in the sterilization of dental instruments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
