As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing various clinical tasks, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a high standard of hygiene within the dental clinic. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and hygiene needs. Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, while adhering to aseptic techniques. Assist in the documentation review of patient medical records and maintain accurate medical imaging. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Utilize medical coding systems for accurate record-keeping and billing processes. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control procedures within the dental office. Experience Previous experience in a dental office or clinic is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and patient assessment protocols is highly desirable. Proficiency in documentation review, medical imaging, and managing medical records will be beneficial.
