Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care. Duties - Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct initial patient screenings and chart patient treatment plans - Maintain and sterilize dental equipment - Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants Qualifications - Certification or associate degree in Dental Hygiene - State licensure as a Dental Hygienist - Proficiency in medical terminology, dental office procedures, and infection control protocols - Knowledge of anatomy, medical records, dental assisting, pediatric dentistry, HIPAA regulations, dental terminology, and general dentistry - Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards patients Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Medical Specialty: Pediatrics License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred) Dental License (Preferred) Work Location: In person
