Friendly dental assistant needed for Pediatric Dental Office

Looking for a dental assistant to join our amazing team at a fun pediatric dental office. Looking for a team player who can work well with others and likes working with children. The position is for 2-3 days a week with the chance to become full time later on.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
- Enter patient information into dental software
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

Requirements:
- Minimum of two years pediatric dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
