Job Title: Dental Hygienist Specialty: Dental Hygiene / Preventive Dentistry Site: Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center Location: 1270 Kot-Num Road, Warm Springs, OR 97761 Duration: 1 year contract Shift Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Wednesday: 12:00 PM 5:00 PM 1-hour lunch break included; closed on federal holidays How Many Shifts Needed Per Month: Up to 5 days/week as coordinated with the COR Credentialing / Onboarding Time: 6 8 weeks License: Current, unrestricted Dental Hygienist license in any U.S. State, DC, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Territory Certifications: BLS (required); state-required anesthesia/nitrous oxide certifications if applicable Education: Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program Experience Needed: 1 year clinical experience preferred Special Skills Needed: Dentrix, RPMS/EHR, Microsoft Office/Outlook; cultural sensitivity with Native American patient populations; experience in rural/remote healthcare settings preferred Responsibilities: Oral health/risk assessments and periodontal charting Prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, calculus/plaque removal Fluoride and sealant application Dental radiographs (taking and processing) Oral cancer screenings, blood pressure screening Oral hygiene instruction and patient education Nutrition counseling related to oral health Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration (where authorized) Temporary restorations and polishing within licensure Referral coordination and recall scheduling Documentation in Dentrix and RPMS/EHR; HIPAA compliance Prime Physicians is a physician-led, The Joint Commission (TJC) Accredited, ISO 9001 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised organization.
