Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their individual needs. Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Review and update medical records accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system Dentrix. Support infection control procedures by sterilizing instruments, managing dental supplies, and maintaining a clean clinical environment. Document treatment details thoroughly, including documentation review, medical coding, and patient notes for accurate records management. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials. Proven experience in dental office settings, with familiarity in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred. Hands-on experience with Dentrix is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for patient education, documentation review, and collaboration with team members.
