Our work environment includes: Safe and positive work environment Lively atmosphere Relaxed atmosphere Family office setting Position Overview: We are currently seeking a friendly and dependable dental hygienist for a Friday-only, long term temp position. Our Friday hygienist will be going out out on medical leave, this position is expected to run July through September or October 2026. Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take x-rays and pano's - Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Administer local anesthesia for SRP appointments - Maintain accurate patient records using dental software system Open Dental - Maintain a team player attitude and function as a team unit Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist - Proficiency in treatment planning and taking accurate clinical notes. - Familiarity with dental software systems such Open Dental - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members - Ability to work independently and efficiently. - Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety measures Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
