Overview Our office is looking for a hygienist to join our team. Our hygienist of over 30 years is retiring. We are a two doctor family practice hoping to fill the position as soon as possible. We are located in Neshannock area. We are flexible will hours full or part-time. We are open to new graduates. Every patient is given one hour for proper care. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Assess patient medical history to ensure safe treatment procedures. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with chairside support, ensuring smooth workflow. Take digital dental radiographs Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Review medical records and documentation for accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain sterile environments using aseptic techniques and infection control standards to prevent cross-contamination. Skills Dentrix and Dexis Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs, including pediatrics.
