Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate treatment plans effectively with patients and team members Maintain high standards of infection control and aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations Use dental imaging tools and medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records using electronic health record systems (Dentrix Ascend) Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry as a General Dentist Proven experience working in dental clinics or dental offices with proficiency in general dentistry procedures Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical documentation standards Experience with dental fabrication techniques and performing dental extractions or root canal therapy preferred Familiarity with spanish speaking patient base a plus Ability to work efficiently in four-handed dentistry setups and coordinate seamlessly with dental assistants Excellent communication skills to explain treatment options clearly and compassionately to patients Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise transforms smiles daily!
