Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time HOURS: MONDAY 7AM-1PM or 1PM-7PM TUESDAY 7AM-1PM WEDNESDAY 7AM-1PM THURSDAY 7AM-1PM FRIDAY 7AM-1PM Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings Conduct patient assessments including vital signs, medical history review, and dental examinations to identify oral health issues early Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care tailored to their individual needs Take and interpret medical imaging and dental radiographs while maintaining strict infection control standards Review and update medical records accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Open Dental or Dentrix Support the dental team with documentation review, medical coding, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification Experience working in general/cosmetic dentistry Proficiency with EMR systems such as Open Dental/Dentrix/Dexis highly desirable Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic technique Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly Ability to work efficiently in a moderately-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering top-tier dental care!
