**Job Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting our dentists and hygienists with patient care, medical records, and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment with a team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and sterilizing equipment. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients. - Participate in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of pediatric patients. - Utilize Eaglesoft to manage patient records and schedule appointments. - Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns. - Perform aseptic technique to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. - Conduct 3D scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of dental issues. - Assist with medical imaging procedures, including taking and developing x-rays. - Possess strong anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate with patients. - Work collaboratively with the dental receptionist to manage patient flow and ensure seamless communication. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to all HIPAA regulations. **Requirements:** - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience. - Possess a strong understanding of general dentistry principles. - Experience working with pediatric patients preferred. - Familiarity with medical imaging and anatomy knowledge is essential. - Proficiency in Dentrix Ascend is required. - Ability to maintain aseptic technique and follow OSHA guidelines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care.
