This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment with a team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and sterilizing equipment. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients. - Participate in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of pediatric patients. - Utilize Eaglesoft to manage patient records and schedule appointments. - Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns. - Perform aseptic technique to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. - Conduct 3D scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of dental issues. - Assist with medical imaging procedures, including taking and developing x-rays. - Possess strong anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate with patients. - Work collaboratively with the dental receptionist to manage patient flow and ensure seamless communication. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to all HIPAA regulations. **Requirements:** - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience. - Possess a strong understanding of general dentistry principles. - Experience working with pediatric patients preferred. - Familiarity with medical imaging and anatomy knowledge is essential. - Proficiency in Dentrix Ascend is required. - Ability to maintain aseptic technique and follow OSHA guidelines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care.
