Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression for everyone entering the office Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix Ascend or Eaglesoft Verify insurance coverage and benefits, ensuring accurate billing and patient understanding Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly and courteously Collect and review patient documentation, including intake forms, medical history updates, and consent forms Perform insurance verification and pre-authorizations to facilitate smooth billing processes Maintain accurate dental records in electronic health record (EHR). Assist with billing procedures. Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and maintaining organized medical records Uphold HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient information during all interactions and documentation review processes Qualifications Prior experience in a dental office or healthcare setting with clinic experience preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology. Proficiency Dentrix Ascend. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and health information management software Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems and maintain professionalism under pressure. Strong organizational skills with clerical experience in filing, documentation review, and office tasks Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance in all patient interactions and recordkeeping Ability to perform front desk duties such as intake processing, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical administrative support Experience with dental office management software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred; hospital experience is a bonus Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication helps create a welcoming environment for patients while supporting the seamless operation of our dental practice.
