Davenport Pediatric Dentistry is a brand new pediatric dental private practice that recently opened it's doors in March 2026!! We are GROWING and looking for a motivated, detail-oriented dental assistant to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a startup environment where your ideas and energy will help shape the patient experience and the culture of our practice. Key Responsibilities: · Provide exceptional chairside assistance to pediatric patients · Prepare and turn over operatories efficiently between patients · Sterilize and organize instruments following proper infection control procedures · Take digital radiographs · Provide comfort and reassurance to young patients and parents throughout the visit · Assist with charting, treatment notes and maintaining accurate patient records · Assist with social media and ground marketing initiatives, including participation in community events · Support the front office with answering phones, scheduling appointments and checking patients in and out as needed · Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming clinical environment Qualifications · Minimum of 2 years dental assisting experience (pediatric experience a plus) · Experience with Open Dental software is a plus, however training will be provided · Excellent communication and customer service skills · Warm, patient and professional demeanor, especially with children and families · Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting · Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help whenever needed Why Join Davenport Pediatric Dentistry · Be part of a supportive, close-knit startup team where your contributions truly make a difference · Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and continued education · Help build a practice where every child and parent feels cared for and every team member is valued If you’re passionate about pediatric care and want to help create a positive, welcoming environment for families, we’d love to meet you!
