Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Orlando, FL
Overview: Are you an experienced Dental Assistant looking to join a supportive, patient-focused team? Bright Now! Dental in Orlando is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and deliver exceptional patient care. Prior Dental Assistant experience required Current X-ray certification (as required by Florida state regulations) Strong chairside assisting skills across general dentistry procedures Excellent communication and patient care abilities Team-oriented, dependable, and detail-focused Schedule (days/hours): Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm & 1 Saturday a Month Responsibilities: Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take and process dental X-rays Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Ensure smooth patient flow and a positive clinical experience Qualifications: Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state) Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Compensation: $20 - $24/hr About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (âPTOâ), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
