We are looking for an orthodontic assistant who is energetic, friendly and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be willing to work in both our Lakeland and Winter Haven offices. Job functions will include: · Chairside assisting, · Taking x-rays and impressions, · Digital scanning, lab work, sterilization, computer charting and scheduling appointments. Qualifications: · Proven work experience as an orthodontic assistant is strongly preferred. Experience as a dental assistant will be considered. · Experience with patient management software and digital charting is preferred. · Professional attitude and appearance. · Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise. · Strong time-management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. · Demonstrate superior customer service. · High school degree; additional certification in orthodontic assisting is a plus.
