Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Perform dental charting and documentation - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar - Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed - Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment Requirements: - Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant certification - Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures - Familiarity with medical terminology, systems, and coding - Proficiency in dental documentation software (e.g., Open Dental, CAD) - Experience with dental radiography and imaging techniques - E nglish and Spanish fluent - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities -Expanded duty funtions: temporary crowns, etc Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
